Tablature has been around forever, but really gain steam and took hold in the mid-late 90’s when music nerds got together and made the musical cliff notes that are tablature (tabs) wide spread and easily accessible. Tabs are a great way to pick up an instrument you’ve never used before and with little training and a bit of practice can have you playing actual songs.
We here at Uniting with Music believe that music is for everyone, and in that vein if you have ever been interested in picking up and giving an instrument a try we have collected a wide selection of free resources of all types to help you get along on your journey. Let this be the spring board into the infinity wide world of music, always be learning, never be closed to something new you never know what you can learn.
Reach out to other members in the Uniting with Music community, maybe there are some other musicians in need of a friend to jam or talk music with. Careful… you might just have fun.
